Do I have to pay anything when I post an ad on Ansak?
No, posting an Ad on Ansak is completely free. Payments are only done when promoting your ad on the site.

How can I post an ad on Ansak?
To post an ad, just follow these basic steps:

  • Click on the "Post ad" button located in the menu bar in the upper right part of the page.
  • Enter the general information about your ad, such as category, subcategory, duration, zip code, email, and street address (optional). Then, click the "Continue" button.
  • On the next page, enter the ad details, such as the ad type, title, description, price etc...
  • You can also add promotion (optional) if you want your ad to look more appealing to the viewers/buyers and receive more page views.
  • When you are finished click on the "Post Your Ad" button.

What type of ads may I post on Ansak?
You can post ads as "offered" which means that you are offering or selling something, or you can post ads as "wanted" which means you are looking for something.

How many images can I use in my ad?
You can add up to 12 images to each ad.

How can I get the most replies for my ad?
To increase the chances of receiving good responses, you can use some of these tips:

  • If you have multiple items, post each item in a separate ad instead of jamming all of you items in one ad. The more ads you have, the more views you receive and the more items you will sell. Also, this way you make it easier for buyers to learn about each of your items.
  • Include at least one picture in your ad so users know exactly what they're buying.
  • Use the tools provided for the description to make your ad look more appealing for the users to read. For example, you can use one of the various fonts, colors, bullets, numbers and a whole lot more.
  • Use some of the optional fields, such as the condition, brand, quantity, and shipping cost to provide viewers with more information about your ad.
  • Spread the word! The more people you tell, the more responses you will receive, and the higher the chances for you to succeed.

How many ads can I post per day?
On Ansak you can post as many ads per day as you want. However, your ads cannot be duplicates, and they must not violate our Terms of Use.

For how long does my ad appear on the site?
It is up to you to determine the duration of each ad. Ansak provides four different duration options to choose from when posting an ad. You can choose to display your ad for one month, three months, six months, or even a year. It is completely up to you to determine the duration.

Can I re-list an item if it doesn't sell the first time?
Yes, listings are always free and you can re-list items free.

How can I promote, edit, renew, or delete my ad?
There are two ways to manage your ads on Ansak:

  • The best way to manage your ads is from "My Ansak" because it enables you to manage all of your ads in one place and with more flexibility. Simply log into "My Ansak" if you are registered, and you will see all of your active ads. On the same page, you will be able to edit, renew, delete, or promote any of your ads.
  • Or you can manage your ad form your email. Find the confirmation email you received from Ansak after posting your ads. The email includes links that enable you to edit, renew, or delete your ad.

Am I required to register in order to use Ansak?
No, you can browse the site and post ads without registration. Registration is required only when you want to open your free Ansak Store, or when you want to promote your ads.

How can I find an item on Ansak?

  • Simply describe in few words what you are looking for in the search box then click the search button.
  • Or you can browse ads based on the category. Just click on "Classifieds" in the menu bar, then click on the category that fits what you are looking for.

Is Ansak a store? Do I purchase products from Ansak directly?
Ansak does not sell anything directly to users. We just provide a service for Internet merchants to list their products for sale on our website.

Why didn't I receive a confirmation email after registering?
If you have not received your confirmation email, check your "Bulk" or "Spam" folder in your email to see if the confirmation email from Ansak was sent there. If that doesn't work, make sure that the email you have entered is correct and in use.

Why was my ad removed from the site?
There are probably several causes for why an ad may have been removed from the site:

  • The ad may have expired.
  • The ad may have been a duplicate of another ad.
  • The ad may have violated our Terms of Use.

How can I contact an ads owner on Ansak?
If you want to contact an ad owner on Ansak, click on the "Contact the Poster" button, located on the ad details page underneath the poster's information.

How can I report scam emails that I received?
You can report any email that you feel is a scam or just a spam by clicking on the "Report this message" link which is included with every message sent through any Ansak contact form.

How can I report a problem that I encountered using Ansak?
If you experience problems using Ansak, please contact us by clicking on the "Contact Us" link, located at the bottom of every page, and tell us about the problem. We value your help and take your concerns seriously.

What are cookies? And why should they be enabled?

Please remember that Ansak is not involved in the payment transaction between Buyers and Sellers. Ansak is not responsible for setting payment terms, collecting or ensuring payments. The parties need to reach an agreement on the pricing and the payment terms prior to the finalization of the transaction. To prevent any of this from happening, try to transact locally and in-person.

  • Upload a store logo. (A store logo is required in order for the store to become public)

Which items appear in my Ansak Store?
You have the option to decide which items will appear in your store. If your ads are posted under the categories: Jobs, Community and Personals, they will not appear in your store.

Why am I not receiving any replies?
Receiving a lot of views doesn't necessarily mean you should receive more replies. There are several reasons that explain why you aren't receiving any offers or making sales:

  • You have very few items in your store. The more items you have, the higher the possibility to make sales.
  • Your prices may be higher than normal, or your items conditions may appear to be poor in quality.
  • Your items do not contain pictures. Keep in mind that a picture is worth a 1000 words. People like to see things before they buy them, so make sure that each of your items is accompanied by high-quality photographs.
  • You have yet to properly promote your store.

Am I required to use a logo for my store?
Yes, all stores must have logos. Your store logo must be appropriate and related to the items in your store.
